A Spark of Funding to Catalyse Business Growth

Yep... I know a bit of a mouthful but it is held at the university so this is probably why it sounds very academic, Bridge Club appear to be involved in organising the event and it is nice to have something going on in the South of the Region.

This seems an interesting event to go to if you are wondering about venture capital funds or just starting to look at different options for funding your business. The event would also give you the opportunity to meet some of the fund managers and also take part in a panel discussion, which is chaired by the Dean of Teesside Business School. The literature (as usual) is directed at technology businesses as this is always a main focus for the university and the region but I am sure that it will also be suitable for other sectors as well. If I find out differently I will update everyone.

Importantly you will get the chance to have a 1-2-1 discussion with the fund managers who are most relevant to you, which is a great opportunity.

The event details are as follows:

Thursday 2nd September 2010 @ 8:30am - 11am
Clarendon Building at Teesside Uni

To register for the event you will need to contact Toni Allen: 0191 230 5742 or email t.allen@bridgeclubnorth.com
